I run Spybot Search and Destroy (having removed Ad-aware) and it found four issues which I paraphrase:ġ Windows firewall is not turned on. In the past couple of months I have installed a wireless router but this PC is wired the wireless is for my daughters lap top while she is home from collage. I use AVG for virus protection and have for years without any issues and have run Ad-aware from time to time. I have a six year old PC running Windows XP (not sure which service pack) and in the past couple of weeks have been having issues with programs not opening, closing unexpectedly and not responding to commands.
